Meet our Priest and Music Director
The Rev. Dr. Julianne Hanavan
Our Rector, Rev. Julie, was born and raised in Delaware and received her bachelor's degree from Boston College and her PhD in Modern European History from UMass Amherst. An educator, she most recently served as Brown University's Director of Research Ethics Policy prior to beginning her studies and training for the priesthood. Julie is married and the mother of five adult children, and grandmother of six. She was ordained to the Transitional Diaconate in December 2017 and to the Priesthood on June 23, 2018.

Dr. David Moniz
David was born and raised in Warwick, RI and earned his bachelor of music degree in music education and vocal performance from Rhode Island College, his master of music degree in music education from Boston University, and his doctorate in music education and educational leadership from Liberty University. He is a music education in Douglas, MA where he teaches general music, choir, and oversees the instrument lessons program. David and his wife Erin also own and direct the a cappella group, the Very Merry Dickens Carolers that gives 60-80 performances during the holiday season.
